- Installation of Father Hutchens as Rector: This coming Sunday, September 13th at 4:00 PM Bishop Hewitt will officially institute Fr. Hutchens as the Rector of Christ Church Anglican. All are invited to attend!
- We will also be:
- Licensing Austin Chestnut and Daniel Cannon as Lay Readers.
- Dedicating and consecrating our new side-chapel area.
- The live-stream for the installation will be located HERE.

- Wednesday, September 16th at 11:30 AM at the church we will begin a weekly Bible Study on Wednesday mornings. We will begin we will start with the first Gospel, Mark. Question: What sets Mark apart from the other Gospels? Come see!
- Last week’s Rector’s Forum: This past Sunday after the morning service, Father Hutchens conducted a Rector’s Forum after the service, during which he outlined some of his initiatives and provided information on the Diocese of Kibungo in Rwanda. If you’d like to view it or to download a copy of his presentation slides- click here.
- Islam from a Christian Viewpoint. Is the Jesus of Islam the same one found in Christianity? Join us for a Saturday teaching from 10:30 – noon beginning on Saturday, September 26th for a five week overview of Islam. You don’t have to be a member of the church to attend this class, so please invite others who you think might be interested!

- Have you seen Christ Church Anglican’s new signs yet? Two new signs have been installed along our street frontage. One of those signs replaced our old sign on Fairway Drive, and there’s now a sign on the Aiken Road side as well.

Diocese of Kibungo updates: Father Hutchens has written an update on the construction progress being made on the new cathedral for the Diocese of Kibungo. Click here to read it.

In the meantime, please continue to be in prayer for the Anglican Church in Rwanda, particularly that God would move those in authority in Rwanda to re-open a number of churches that have been closed by the Rwandan government.

Here is our parish office schedule:
Monday – Priest’s Sabbath (day off)
Tuesday – Office open 10AM to 5PM
Thursday and Friday – Office open 9AM to 12 noon
Other times are available by appointment only.
If you ever experience an emergency or urgent situation that requires the presence of your priest – Father Hutchens expects, encourages and asks you to contact him immediately, day or night, any day of the week. Cards with his phone and email information are in the narthex – please take one and keep it with your personal “in case of emergency” information.
Mid-weekly service: We hold a mid-weekly Evening Prayer and healing service on Wednesday nights at 6:00 P.M.
